For many, Luke 2 is a familiar passage read in homes on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.  It is the beautiful account of the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.  There is so much Luke’s account doesn’t include.

Why did they actually have to go to Bethlehem?  Was the manger a barn or a more like a cave?  What animasl were actually there?  So many questios arise.

Yet the beautfy of Bethlhem is not in the details.  The beauty of Bethlhem is found in the simplicity of Christ’s birth.  He is the Humble King.  And one day our Humble King is coming again in all His Glory!

Hallelujah!
