There are days and even seasons when I get overwhelmed thinking everything depends on me.  If I’m not careful, my physical, emotional and spiritual tank gets drained.  Hope begins to wane.  I fail to see not only what’s next but the joy of the moment.

My flesh wants to fight God’s desire to be my everything.  Ever been there?

Then the Enemy comes and begins to whisper lies in my ear.

“You call yourself a christian?  Look at what you hve done.”

“You’re not good enough God will be so disappointed in you.”

“How are you ever going to be worthy to get into heaven?”

But, those are blatant lies of the Enemy!

Jeremiah 33:16, “…The Lord is our righteousness.”

“Our righteousness is in Him, and our hope depends, not upon the exercise of grace in us, but upon the fullness of grace and love in Him, and upon His obedience unto death.” – John Newton

Praise the Lord today for His righteousness and the hope we have in Him!
