I am currently reading through the letter to the Phillipians. Today I am pondering this passage. “Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” (Philippians 4:8)
Singing songs of praise and worship takes our attention off of ourselves and the storm of life we might be experiencing. It allows the affection of our hearts to connect to the heart of God. May the songs we will sing in worship Sunday may encourage you today!
